发帖数: 5407 | 1 这两天研究了新泽西华人分布，觉得有必要把三大块三小块改为四大块三小块。 这四
大块中的老三，是博根郡（Bergen County)北部地区。
我们可以以Fair Lawn， Paramus, Fort Lee一线把博根郡划分为南北两部。 南部是蓝
领地区，北部是传统富裕地区，十分九分学区连绵不绝。筛选入学的Bergen Academy更
是全国一流的科技高中，亚裔学生占半数。 这里靠近纽约，人口拥挤，交通方便，还
有三条高速两条通勤铁路。 东边的Pascack Valley Line是单轨， 每站必停。 西边的
Bergen Main Line则有两条甚至三条铁轨， 通勤高峰时期有不少快车。 所以同样在博
根郡最北端, Mahwah从地图上看比Montvale更偏远，但通勤无论是火车还是汽车都单程
要少一二十分钟。
博根郡，特别是其靠近哈德逊河的东北部，是韩国人聚居区。 韩裔人口的快速增加，
已经对博根郡的政治生态发生影响（比如韩文选票，慰安妇纪念碑等等）。 其他亚裔
如印度裔，菲律宾裔以及华裔也在稳定而缓慢地增加中，每个市镇都有一些，但并未形

恶俗的闪闪发光起来，突然觉得来show的姐妹一定都是开心幸福的， 不管别人怎么说
。 倒不是说没钻戒那些不幸福，但是收到戒指的那一刻，真的好开心呀。我以前觉得
自己还蛮“脱俗”的，才不稀罕什么钻戒呢， 只要我爱的人， 拿个草环向我求婚我也

当年和bf拍拖，经常去三藩Sunset Beach散步。 每当远眺Cliff House的时候，
就打趣说你以后找到工作有钱了， 就请我来这里吃饭吧。（我承认自己老土， 只听
说过Cliff House， 没有进去过， 以为那一定是豪华餐馆）。后来我们一起毕业， 磕
磕绊绊的找到工作。为省钱搬到一起住， 提前过起了柴米油盐的夫妻生活。我们都不

among Clayton Kershaw, Cliff Lee, and Roy Halladay. Arguments
can be made for anyone. In terms of ERA+, Halladay ties with Lee
at 159 with Kershaw @ 155. This was before today.
Today, Halladay pitched his 9th CG and first SO this season.
Kershaw is also pitching a gem, 5 innings of one hit game so far.
Tomorrow it is Cliff Lee's turn.

以前这队就是山猫，要不是牧师在里面打球，估计这里谁也不会看他一场球。的确，看
穷人版的 Kobe 打铁，估计谁的兴趣都不大。今年算是引进了几个好手，成绩有了突破。
可这突破不具可持续性，赛季结束后自由球员包括，AL，Batum, Lee，Lin, Marvin,
全是核心球员，要把他们全留住几乎不可能。黄蜂夏季的优先级看起来是要把 Batum
留下来，再找内线的肌肉棒子。
Batum 在我看来拿最大合同是 overpaid，他就是一个 Utility man，啥都能干，可啥
都不是顶尖的。可如今 NBA 人才凋零年代，半满的水瓶也是抢手货，你不出价，其他
人会。最后估计黄蜂至少以 2200 万以上近似 Max 和合同还招揽他。
其实黄蜂最需要的是内线肌肉棒子，因为黄蜂内线实在太软了，真正的三无产品，无进
攻（除 AL 有时当个老廉颇），无防守，无篮板。除 Zeller 外，其他人做个墙都不行
。常规赛好多场内线被曝，全靠外线发挥拿下的。不解决内线，你 pay batum 3000 万
都没有用。好好上赛季有个好替补中锋比杨波又给释放了，取而代之的是 rookie

player Cliff Harris was driving early Sunday morning, when he was cited for
driving 118 mph, was paid for by a university employee.

发帖数: 5509 | 6 去Big Sur Station，需要hiking 10 miles山路才能到的Sykes Hot Springs泡温泉。
第一天周六和女朋友下午3点30出发，我背着帐篷，2个睡袋，2个防潮垫。做饭的东西。
她背着一个浴巾，8袋方便面，4个cliff bar，2.5升水。
晚上6点多天黑，靠着头灯，在晚上9点半摸到了sykes hot spring。路上消耗2个cliff
bar。
扎营煮了4袋方便面，2人吃完，然后泡了2个小时温泉睡觉。半夜雨很大，被吵醒一次。
泡温泉的时候钥匙串掉水里了，捞起来放到石头上，总想着走的时候带上，结果没带。
很奇怪上次在lost coast 长距离hiking，这双鞋都没出问题。
这次居然又磨脚后跟了，泡温泉的时候发现磨起了很大水泡，虽然水泡瘪了，但好像没
破。
第二天周日早上，把剩下的4袋方便面吃完，又泡了一个小时温泉。
上午11点30出发， 路上把剩下的2个cliff bar吃掉。
下午4点10分左右，我发现钥匙没了，所有的钥匙，包括车钥匙，车还是租的。
突然发现很惨，没吃的，最近的朋友也要开车1个半小时才能到，还未必能找到地方。

什么距离出现cliff，提前减速避免cliff。为了避免cliff前后速度差异太大，需要做

Verde的大门口。
Mesa Verde National Park位于Colorado州的西南角，建于1906年，为保护公元600到
1300年期间生活在这里的古印第安人的遗址。“Mesa”指台地，平顶山。一千多年前，
一部分印第安人生活在台地的顶端，另外一部分却迁移到半山腰悬崖中的凹陷处，在那
里造房子，叫做“cliff dwelling”。然而，公元1300年左右，这些印第安人却举家迁
徙，离开了这片生活了七百多年的地方，原因至今仍是一个谜。公园里有大量保存完好

2015年算是我风光摄影比较多得一年，虽然跟版上大牛们比不了，从年中开始也基本保
持了一月一次出行的频率，窃以为对我来说已经不算容易了。后期方面仍然是延续去年
的那一套，感觉没太有时间看一些video，进步比较小，今年一定补上。废话不多说，
按月上照片吧。器材基本是D810, 24-70G F/2.8, 14-24G, F/2.8, 70-200G, F/4。极
少情况使用Zenitar 16mm f2.8 鱼眼，这也是我仅有的器材了。。
1月刚从国内回来，2月去了趟南加，本来想去Joshua Tree NP 拍拍仙人掌，后来架不
住同行室友的没兴趣也只好作罢。于是这俩月暂且略过。
3月去了趟Natural Bridge State Park, 其实这已经是我第五次来这个地方守日落，却
仍然没什么好光好云，充分说明看懂云图和天气预报再去蹲点的重要性。

这张相片来自big five marathon 官方精选。 哈哈
是的，里面那两个小小的难辨雌雄的两个小人就是我和M了。
照片很美， 很有意境。
抛开个人对美图的鉴赏，从事实的角度， 我们可以观察到：
1. 除了我和M， 蜿蜒的小路上，丛林中， 我们的身后， 再没别人了。
是的， 现实就是， 我和M是倒数第4，5名 （not the last one though！）
2. 照片上的我和M， 没在跑步， 是在走路。
是的， 这张照片应该是在23km左右从helicopter上照的。
那时候我刚刚经历了第一次cramp。
这次marathon route大约可以分成5个部分：
第一部分： 平原出发，土路， 石子路跑一个大约200 米落差的上坡到整个reserve的
最高点然后返回
第二部分： 石头路，跑下一个500m over 3km 的cliff到谷底
第三部分： 沙子路， 平坦的谷底，狮子们的领地
第四部分： 再次跑上同一个500m over 3km 的cliff到平原
第五部分： 土路， 石子路跑回起点。

发帖数: 70028 | 33 华人社区关注的圣地牙哥加大（UCSD）教授Cliff Kubiak「辱华事件」终于尘埃落定。Kubiak教授日前发布道歉信，UCSD随后向全校公布，并重申其学术自由以及学者、学生多元化平等的价值取向，学校还特别增设专门负责族群平等多元的副校长职位，以期给学生和学者创造更公平正义的学习工作环境。
据悉，此事件不但有USCD中国学生学者联谊会（CSSA）介入，更有前德拉瓦州副州长、亚裔人权组织80-20基金会主席吴仙标（S.B.Woo）与加大总校长余度夫(Mark Yudof)和UCSD校方交涉一个多月。
事件发生后，UCSD副校长Suresh Subramani受余度夫指派专门负责此事，学校邀请该校三位德高望重的华裔教授钱永健（Roger Tsien）、钱煦（Shu Tsien）以及王映真（Jean Wang）参与学校反歧视委员会（OPHD）的调查。三位教授表明，他们全程参与调查，并提出很多质疑，都得到答覆。Kubiak此前从没有任何种族歧视言行举止，他们对调查的过程和结果均表示满意。

后面的事情偶来简单介绍一下。
在cliff已经完成的最后一篇中苏军糟糕的状况持续到1940年1月。在这期间这场战争的直
接指挥者梅列茨科夫将军显得反应极慢。在付出了重大的代价之后，苏军终于清醒过来，
知道摧枯拉朽式的速胜是不可能的。为了抑制芬兰军队游击战的优势（偶觉得苏芬战争是
人类历史上最成功的游击战），苏军重组了各集团军，收紧了战线，集中攻击曼纳海姆防
线。
这次苏军投入的总兵力虽然高达120万人，但大多是二流部队，水平低劣。重组用了半个
多月才完成，至2月初真正有威胁的攻势才算形成。此时芬兰军队数量尤其是重武器方面
