Blog快两年了，他们这几年的经典片子我都可以背出来。
Jerry是我心目中的Michael Jordan, 他也是我每年都会去WPPI听课的原因。He
creates a dream for me to wake up everyday and work hard on my dream. 如果有
人问我谁是对我摄影影响最深的人，那绝对是Jerry Ghionis.
Cliff的用光是最让我佩服的，但当你真正研究wedding photography以后，你会理解用
光只是technical part, 最深刻的东西是emotion,情感。
Jerry是情感的大师，他想让客人哭的时候，几句话就能让人泪水下来，他想让客人笑
的时候，几句话就能让人笑出来
虽然我也是WPJA的会员，但从心理很难去崇尚photo journalism, 在我看来，
photojournalist就是靠天吃饭，靠人吃饭的，只会等在那里等Moment, count on luck

发帖数: 1310 | 10 那张是wppi获奖的一个片子好像。那个老奶奶因为病重没有去成那个新娘的婚礼，在婚
礼结束后几周就去世了。这张照片也是陪伴那个老奶奶一起埋在地下的一件物品。
可能每个人value的东西不一样吧。我个人更喜欢cliff，我觉得更感人，更贴近人.

我觉得蛋老大的意思是，如果你的婚礼有故事，人物感情更外露，cliff这种摄影师会
有很好很好的片子，但是遇到那种感情内敛的人就发挥不出来了。 |

cliff 绝不会说把花放胸前，俯身，眼向下看。。。
他会把人放在最合适的光线里，然后让让moment自己发生。所以所有的感情都是真实的。
这也就是为什么他的片子看起来那么感人。
cliff常说的一句话就是stage them in the best lighting scenario, and let the
moment happen itself |

同事召集周六去hiking, 体内巨大的能量告诉他们：我想去！毕竟距上次徒步爬山已
接近16个月。没有车的坏处在于拖HL一大早来我家接我去集合，没有车的好处在于只管
座享， 不必查路，开车，养车。。。
昨天去的第一站是Raven Cliff Fall Trail, 据说是 the 10-best-things-to-do list
in Helen, GA. Anyway, 是HL找的地，组织去的，偶跟着去就是。这也是没有车的不
便，大抵国内两只脚，两个轮子 或在家一张车票自行路线出游的时代暂时过去了。在
美国出行，用我自己的话来说，基本就是----"蹭", 蹭车买菜，蹭车出行。简称蹭蹭一
族，好在没有沦落为趁人之危，每每想到此，心中顿觉宽慰不少。
8：30集合出发，10：30到trail山脚parking. 先遣部队第一拨由Ling, Ling-lg(Yu),

funding is 300-400k including in-driect. I don't think NIH R03 is renewable
(I could be wrong), but R01 is a lot harder in funding review and paylines.
For example, NCI is 7% and no new investigator bonus without the cliff.
If we really jump off the cliff, it will be lower. |

根据教课书的定义， 美国政府宏观经济的调节手法有两种
1. fiscal policy (基本是总统和国会的事， 主要是加税减税和goverment spending)
2. monetary policy (基本是FED的工作， 主要是货币发行和interest rate)
现在两个手法完全相反， 大本正在拼命地印钞票(货币宽松+和低利率)， 总统和国会
正好唱反调(财政紧缩+加税) |
