Senior GL accountant
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with oversea subs for monthly closing
• Review oversea recons
• Review cross billings within group
• Manage fixed asset GL and Sub ledger.
• Review USA book monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Handling Tax filing – VAT/GST reclaim, annual filing, property
tax and income tax
• Support reports required for FP&A
• Month end closing work under GL
• Consolidation
• Follow with internal / external / tax audit.
• Maintain banking documents and relations
• Cash forecasting
• Other Duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with emphasis in
Accounting. CPA Preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience with broad area.
Proven knowledge of accounting systems, principles, practices, standards,
laws and regulations.
• Comfortable with multi-time zone and multi-currency transactions
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with an ability to
communicate tactfully with vendors and customers and top managers
• Strong team player with high service-orientation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively and
meet deadlines.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office and accounting software
• Have to have recent SAP GL user experience
• Willingness to be hands-on in a dynamic fast paced environment
• Self starter with the ability to manage own time effectively |
