problems under strong sun light. He had the seals replaced but the problem
is still there. Any clue as to whether I should send it somewhere for a
repair?

发帖数: 343 | 2 Have you examined the curtains? Are there any patches or irregularity at
the edge? Where does the light leakage happen? Edge or a specific spot? I
would recommend sending it to Youxin Ye for a checkup.
There are a lot of possible causes for light leakage, so it is hard to say
without seeing the camera in person.

size to your Leica meter.

m6 is more convenient (meter). The RF is not in the same league. The M2 is
larger and brighter. My current m2 is so freaking smooth and quiet..."butter
smooth". I loved my m6 ttl .85x though. Fantastic for 50mms but again,
M2 is simpler and much cheaper.

between the two coninciding images.
i don't like the m6 .85x RF either. flares so easily. even R2A's is better.
zeiss ikon's is not flaring, but it will disappear completely when your eye
is not right in its VS's light axis, and the image contrast is pretty low(
the moving image is much weaker than the fixed one). nikon S3's is blurry.
so far the best VF I have handled was the one on Xpan. not brightest but
clearly the easie

Yeah, the yellow patch on my m2 is very contrary and it doesn't flare nearly
as often.
I agree, Xpan is the best I have used in terms of RF.
