so they will be pretty cautious and increase rate when necessary. no one
knows how long we can still enjoy this low rate. now the consensus is at
least another 7 months.

| h*******s 发帖数: 3932 | 5 It depends on your situation and the extent of risk-tolerance . If you think
you'll sell it in 7 or 8 years, of course get ARM. fixed only makes sense
if you're going to hold it for a really long time. I think the fixed rate
will gradually go up from here. Now is the bottom.
ARM will go higher too, but won't cross current fixed rate for a while. If
you choose 5-yr ARM, you may not have another chance to refi it in 5 years.
I think it should be fine because you simply go with another ARM after it (
could be even shorter term). After another 1 or 2 years, boom, you'll move,
ARM or fixed, will be gone with the wind.
