can apply with any link you want. When you call to activate the card ask
them to apply whichever promo you want to use to your card. (this may take
one or more attempts) You can also do this with their secure message center
but you must have an established online account and register your new card
on it.
The rep will notate your account with the offer and when you meet the
spending requirements you can message them or call them and have the MR
points immediately applied (again this may take more than one attempt).
I have successfully done this on the Gold and the Gold business for myself
and my spouse. Took two weeks from start to finish and cashed out a total of
300K MR points for $3000.00 in Home Depot gift cards.
The Gold and Gold biz have the annual fee waived for the first year so
cancel before then. I used offer code 5894 for Gold and 6499 for Gold Biz.
You can apply for the biz card as a sole prop and just use your SSN. The biz
cards do not report to your personal credit report.
