Sprint/HTC just pushed out the official Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 update to
the EVO this past weekend.
Of course the next generation EVO 3D is expected to be released in the next
3 weeks for the rumored new contract price of $199 after rebates.
The first generation unit is one year mature and very popular in both its
native stock build and within the root/custom rom community offering 4G data
, Adobe Flash video playback, HDMI output, wireless hotspot capability, the
ability to change and use extra and extended batteries and other features
not available on the Apple iPhone 4 OS. Of course, the iPhone offers a
larger application catalog than the Android Market available to EVO owners.
