stock are even not public... how I know the value of the stock?

their stocks (after IPO) in "option" price such as 5 cents.
for example, they give you 10000 shares in 5 cents/share, after N years,
they are succesfully on public market with $10/share. Then you can buy 10000
shares with price of 5 cents a piece, sell it immediately for a profit of $
9.95/share.
If they don't give you a price now, they are trying to play with you: they
can set whatever price they want after IPO. In the same example, if they set
the price of the option to be $10, then your 10000 shares are worth nothing. | r****1 发帖数: 2299 | 7 就是开空头支票,除非你觉得公司前景很好而且准备长期做。 | f********e 发帖数: 53 | 8 Thanks for the detailed explanation.

usually annually. you have no control on that. after you accept the offer
and become an employee, they should let you know the price.
