你得看看add/remove softwares 里面有没有可疑的软件, IE 菜单上有没有被加上什么
(右键点着IE 工具栏看看), 在process 里面看看有没有可疑的进程. | jp

Basically in Win2000,
MBR->Boot sector->boot loader->boot drivers, system registry hive
->session manager->other service -> winlogon -> shell(explorer).
To your question, IE most probably will load some dll that
registered with it. You probably can look for it in "accessary"
registery setting of IE.
