For my course project, I need a lot of tools ruuning in Unix. So I want to
intall a Unix system in my PC.
I want to keep Unix and Winxp both on my machine and If I want, I could switch
between them freely. How to do that?

addition to Unix version.
How to do that? Please tell me.
Is Linux very hard to learn how to use. I only have some basic knowledege on
DOS and Unix. Nothing on linux.

How to install linux, you just need a disc, maybe some help
from guys in linux board.

发帖数: 30 | 5 Linux is a variation of Unix. You can go to JHQ of linux board to learn
about it. Or go to some place like linux.org

发帖数: 47 | 8 Just download a copy a Redhat Linux 7.2 from redhat.com
Redhat is one of the easiest to configure in PC, like windows.
FreeBSD is also another variant of UNIX, but harder to configure for newbie.
Solaris is hard to configure in PC.
