Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley officially kicked off his campaign for
president today in Baltimore, and the Washington Examiner was there to
welcome him to the race with a comprehensive list of 40 times he raised
taxes on the State of Maryland. While many were quite conventional, it’s
wondered if the infamous “rain tax” will come up during the campaign.

Disturbing as it is I would prefer President Rain Tax over Shady
McPantsuit.

My biggest fear of O'Malley's rain tax is what happens when it doesn't
rain. #UniteBIue #PJNET

Dear America: Don't put Martin O'Malley in charge of this country. I
have two words for you: Rain. Tax. Sincerely, MD residents.

So #MartinOMalley is running, does that mean if he wins his Maryland
rain tax will go into effect nation wide?

Martin O'Malley is running for President. I'm sure voters will fall in
LOVE with the concept of a nationwide Rain Tax.

@hoyadave @GovernorOMalley the f'n rain tax! O'Malley is a progressive
tool. I moved back to PA and I realized how bad MD was for taxes.
