Republican candidate, said he's doing that to ensure women share eaual
rights at work.
What he did is not ensuring women get eaual rights/pay at work, but in this
instance he wanted women in his cabinet so he could say he had women in his
cabinet. He recruited women to be women—not cabinet members.

Equal employment, equal pay, or equal rights are linked together, I think.
Do you think the example is not enough for showing equal pay at work for

When I was at my first job just out of grad school. One day my boss came
asking if I d be willing to do some initial screening for candidates for
hire. Sure I said. Shortly, a few huge binders arrived at my desk, thousands
of resumes! "Gimme a couple dozen we ll phone interview", my boss said.
Then he pointed to one binder, "make sure to include a few from this one".
I did not understand first why that single one was so important, it was by
far the thinnest after all.
But when I open it, I realized, it was a binder full of resumes of women and
minorities. Obviously prepared by the career office of one of the colleges
in town to market these candidates better. Very clever.
There you go, "binder full of women".
