l****z 发帖数: 29846 | 1 Stephanie Cutter reminds me of the Elle Woods character in Legally Blonde,
except she doesn’t have any of the charm or intelligence of the Reese
Witherspoon character. By all appearances Cutter is the one person who can
dutifully be called out to make the most ridiculous of arguments for the
Obama campaign – ones that no one else could make with a straight face.
The Free Beacon was keeping tabs on Cutter today. It’s the kind of day you
have when your campaign has been knocked off track.
First and foremost she’s taking the stance for the Obama campaign that the
reason the terrorist attack at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed U.
S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans has “become the
political topic it is because the Romney/Ryan campaign is talking about it.
STEPHANIE CUTTER: In terms of the politicization of this — you know, we
are here at a debate, and I hope we get to talk about the debate — but the
entire reason this has become the political topic it is, is because of Mitt
Romney and Paul Ryan. It’s a big part of their stump speech. And it’s
reckless and irresponsible what they’re doing.
BROOKE BALDWIN: But, Stephanie, this is national security. As we
witnessed this revolution last year, we covered it–
CUTTER: It is absolutely national security–
BALDWIN: –it is absolutely pertinent. People in the American public
absolutely have a right to get answers.
The entire reason this has become a political topic is because every
indication is that the Obama administration basically left our people on the
ground unprotected and when terrorist struck they attempted to cover-up and
deceive the public about what happened. Nothing major…
Cutter followed her television interview with more on Twitter…
.@buzzfeedandrew Romney has politicized Libya w/no plans of his own.
POTUS’ priorities are getting facts & bringing terrorists to justice.

She started the morning by saying that the race is essentially the same in
spite of Obama’s horrible debate defeat, and she wrapped up her morning
rounds by forgetting the name of the anchor she was speaking with on CNN.
Considering that the Vice Presidential debate is just a few hours away (
which we’ll be live blogging) maybe she was doing an homage to Joe Biden
today… |
