First of all, congrats moving to bay area where you can enjoy outdoor tennis
almost year around.
SO far i played over 10 Chinese fellows, i am just a beginner, but still won
all of them except one whom i just played double against.
For other cauasians, other asians, there are good players but hard to keep
it as regular partner, like one match a week.
i have had tons of sports experience in bay area, including volleyba

join a club to stop by, and easily find out someone in ur level.
but for tennis, at first i thought it should be easier since you just
need one to play 2-4 hours, but NO, a lot of personality involved.
It is not easy to find someone in ur same level who is willing to
make the weekly commitment.
But in another hand, i love the challenge of looking for partners.
It gives me a chance to handle with strangers, guys met through
internet wit |

有些有基础的打比赛，有的时候人也
满多的，去年的时候去过几次，觉得太远了，再加上10年没打了也跳不起来了，亏我本
科时接应二传打了那么多年了，

(i quit table tennis i had played 10 hours/week for years for tennis)
so far won 6:0 against a guy who claimed he is 3.5 USTA rated, one white
guy 7:5, 6:3 who claimed him 3.5-4.0
but i am a very serious, tough competitor, a lot of other sports
tournament experience, i found a chinese fellow who led a group, who
should be better than me, but we just met in doubles, i called

is playing grass vb at Oval, i am an OH
i prefer outdoor VB to indoor's one.
but i do know guys playing at Stanford regularly for 7-8 years, i sometimes
joined stanford table tennis or squash program.
Stanford is great! easy to park, easy to access even as an outsiders.

reach her level soon:
她的发球最为突出，
落点精准，速度较快，高压也很好，基本上十拿九稳；正手很稳定，落点较深，球速中等
，反手以削为主，偶尔能抽上一两拍。这样的技术加上一个世界羽毛球冠军的身体素质、
头脑和场上意识，其技战术水平可想而知。

just like usatt, by joining USTA, u would get chance to play
leagues and tournaments, right?
now my level is for open play, just recreational match play and drills.
i think i will get ready for serious competition next year.

normally ppl start from 3.0 anyways. u r so strong that at least give it a
try. no need to wait for a year...match, drill, match, drill...helps with
growth the best..

这段我时间比较多，等8月中旬就只能一周一次了吧
所以想在那之前多结交些球友
我还是比较注重礼仪的
比如对拉的时候就尽量落点让对方好接
正手差不多只会上旋
双反稳定性不必正手差
网前基本靠蒙 :p 宁愿让对手上网我来穿越
发球双误少但也没啥威胁
baseliner就是我了
基本情况就是这样
哪位愿意打得一定叫上我，不一定一对一，也可以几个人轮换，多认识几个朋友 :) |

和等电话同学有同感。以前在国内是有球友，少球场。到了美国却多的是球场，球友难
觅。也许在这里每个人的生活(生存)压力比较大，大家都很忙。周末还好一些，平时每
天下班后想要找个人活动活动真是难啊。这里人与人之间的距离也相对遥远些，在球场
上意气相投更难些。。。
