There are only two statistician in the company. The other one is principal
statistician. She claim to have a ms degree in statistics. But I really
doubt it. She doesn't have the fundamental knowledge for a MS in
statistics, such as standardized data, loading and scores in PCA analysis,
etc. She use JMP for anything, just clicking the menu. But she is very
good at HU You. And the senior managers believe her. Is this the case for

hu you is an important function of statistician. applied statistics is a
consulting job in nature. it is your job to explain things to others, or at
least to make sure they think they have understand. |

they know how to do their jobs -- you will be the same in a few years I bet
