到此版看calc与ayanami推荐找了Ender's Game与Ender's Shadow
来看。
读后感觉如下：
1.作者orson scott card的英文写作很简单，读起来没有什么困难，
各位不想读英文的兄弟大可一试，不用太长时间就可以都读完。
2.作者笔下人物对话的小幽默小讽刺笔法不错，读起来很有意思。
3.两本书不是前传或续集关系，而是同一时段的事分别从Ender和从
Bean的眼光来描述，很有新意，而且取得了成功。
4.作者先写Ender's Game,十多年后再写Ender's Shadow。我也是
先看前者，这应该是正确的次序。一是阅读后者时背景清楚，二是读
后者要对照前者才能看出一些妙处来。
5.两本书前者要哲理一些，后者要轻松一些。我更喜欢后者，非常有
意思。当然前者也非常好。
6.两本书的主人公Ender与Bean,后者显得可爱有趣，人物形像要丰满
一些，篇幅也长一些。Bean在鹿特丹街头的流浪生活，在Battle
school
, Command school与教官们的斗争很有意思。作者本意将第 | a*****i

gets a little boring and philosophical for a sci-fi, so I just quit. :)

I still think ender's shadow is the best written, but Bean's character is not
too believalbe, He is just way too smart, and too lucky.

It is about another kind of alien life.
Completely different style from "Ender's Game."
You'd have to read it to decide if you like this style. :)

But it's very likely that you'd start looking for its prequel
"A Deepness in the Sky" as soon as you finish "A Fire upon the
Deep." :)

story telling.

Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson
因为他写九百多页的书太成功了...
Douglas Adams 的 Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
从头大笑到尾,不过一点深度没有..
正好适合我这没深度的人...
The Illuminatus! - Robert Anton Wilson
好象很好看,不过还在地上..
另外Philip Dick也一直想看来着..

Willam Gibson 的 Neuromancer,Count Zero, Monolisa Overdrive
跟Epic还差点,可是他的世界恍若梦境,读了几本便觉,
去过了!
其他的Sci-Fi作者,只让人做旁观者
可是你要飞的很远很远,
还是去读The Space Odessy们吧,
要是一直飞都不累,晚上还有Star Trek...

grander scale.
I like space opera such as "hyperion", "chongkuo", "foudation", "battlefield
earth". Anything with aliens or 6 headed monsters and a big bulky space ship
is a must read for me. :0

have you read David Brin's books, eg uplift trilogy?
personally, i don't like them, but they sort of fit in with
your description.
ps. i don't agree with people saying Orson Scott Card and
Douglas Adams lacks depth, because i like them (in fact i
REALLY like them), i don't want to be called shallow! :)

Neal Stephenson惯于故作高深, 故事结构无章法.
这书另有一功, 不是用深度可以衡量的.
