bid the same house? Clearly no!
My experience:
I saw the house with seller list agent and decided to make an offer.
I asked seller agent "Have you got any offer yet?"
seller agent said" No, none."
I asked seller agent " did you represent other buyers for this house?"
seller agent said "No, I did not".
Then I asked her to be my buyer agent and made an all cash offer for the
house.
Right before my offer expired, she represent another buyer to submit the
offer. The next day of my offer expired, I got counter offer from Seller. I
decided to walk away because I am not comfortable with an agent presenting
two buyers for the same home. Though she might not against law, I think she
is a suspect of unfair professional operation. | k***a 发帖数: 2400 | 2 Why not have your own agent exlusively represent you ? It's not a good idea
to ask seller agent to be a dual agent and represents both parties, he/she
has no clear-cut duty of loyalty to either buyer or seller. |
