速度好像是快了很多，但过一段时间就断一下，随即又自己连上，log里就会有4行：

用的是ATT的DSL，我已经尽量disable了这个router所有的fancy features。
我自己上网断断还好说，可儿子上网下棋，这么断就没法下了，还影响他积分。
我search了一下，也有人有同样的问题，但没有解决之道。不知这里的大虾们可有高招？

我也看到网上有人说只让ATT modem做bridge，由router handle PPPoE，可还没明白具
体怎么弄。ATT又正好在maintain，连用户名和密码都得明天问。

这类便宜router千万不要自己升级，不升级至少是没事的，升级之后就出现了这类问题
，当年一个motorolla就是这样完蛋的

red light. amazon has a good return policy though so it wouldn't be much
trouble to return it.
the internet connection speed is often not limited by the router. going
from g to n or to the gigabyte ones only helps if you moves large amount
of data in your lan, like running a server, streaming etc. n can use
dual band 5ghz for less interference, but unless all your old cards
support n, still you can only use 2.4ghz...
that said, I am waiting for my $16 refurbished n router shipped next
week...

700 if possible? Like using telnet to log into the router, and chmod 700 ba
ndwidth_tmp.txt?
Otherwise using customer firmware like DD-WRT ....
