了早餐，休息会，去排队。预约的12：15，结果1点还差10分就拿到签证出来了，给我
发了短信。然后去了北京的亲戚家，打了几圈麻将，再坐火车回家。哈哈。下面是签证
问答：
爸：您好，我去美国看女儿，这是我老伴，我们一起的。这个是我女儿、女婿给我们准
备的材料清单还有给您的信，您看还需要看什么。
签证官看了看递上的东西：你们在国内有孩子吗？
爸：有个儿子还有女儿。我们有他们的身份证，工作证的复印件，您要看吗？
签证官：不用。你们有工作吗？
爸：我们都退休了。我们带了退休证。
签证官没要：你们有照片吗？
爸递上我们家人的照片，我小时候的照片等。至于我和老公给他们准备的我们在美国和
历次回国的照片都没要。
签证官：可以了。

Dear Visa Officer,
It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter in support of the B-
2 Visa applications of my parents-in-law, Mr. xxx and Ms. xxx. My wife and
I would like to invite them to spend some time with us during Christmas and
Chinese New Year Holidays as well as travel around the United States.
I have obtained my xxx degree from the xxx University and currently work as
a xxx at xxx, with monthly salary of $xxx. My wife, xxx, is accompanying me
now with an H-4 status. We went back together to China to visit our
parents in xxx and xxx. However, due to my busy work with very limited
vacation time, we have missed the reunion with parents during the
traditional Chinese New Year for almost xxx years now. It is our eager wish

I hope that my parents-in-law can stay with us for 4 to 5 months. During
their stay, they will live with us so we can cherish the family reunion as

My parents-in-law will return to China after temporary family reunion and

income of approximately xxxRMB), real estate property, and healthcare in
China. My father-in-law also needs to manage his stock investments there.
In addition, their older son and daughter are both in xxx, China, and they
have a lovely X-year-old grandson to take care of. They have lived in their
hometown for over xxx years and enjoyed living in their familiar social
environment.
Though my parents-in-law are well prepared to pay for their trip to the U.S.
, my wife and I will gladly pay for the expenses for this trip to show our
love and sincere invitation. My stable income and savings are more than
sufficient to cover the travel and living expenses.
I greatly appreciate your kind assistance with my parents-in-law’s
applications for B-2 visas. I truly hope that their applications will be
approved and am looking forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks. May

另外我们还给爸妈准备好了签证问答和签证过程须知。这些都是在本版搜集的。所以谢

签证过程：
1．早上一定要吃饱，喝适量的水！10点钟到11之间要再吃点东西，补充能量。 不要带
包、手机、笔等，只带签证所有材料。然后提前1小时到使馆，给保安出示护照，你们
就可以加入门外排队的人群啦。在使馆附近有很多闲杂人问问题，做广告，你们不用理
他们。
2．在签证处门外排队：把签证预约号也准备好，待用。里面的中国工作人员会一批一
批地叫人进去，所以你们留心听。（比方说，现在约的12点的可以进了。通常都会提前
至少半小时左右放你们进去）。叫到你们的预约时间，你们不管前面还排了多少人，你
们就越过他们先进。
3．进入大门后，中国工作人员会仔细核对你们的护照和预约号、时间。然后就是过安
检。照着工作人员指示就好。安检结束后，确认收好所有东西，记得不要把护照或材料
落在安检那里了。
4．然后随人流过一个长走道，就会进签证厅的门了。准备出示护照、DS160表的确认页
和中信银行收据（贴在确认页上）。然后排队准备交这些材料，领牌子。拿同色牌子的
排一队，然后按指纹。听工作人员的指挥，10个指头都得按，按的时候稍微用点力。指
纹搞定后，还是和拿同色卡的排一队， 准备面谈。排队等候时间可能2小时。使馆里有
厕所，饮水机，需要问工作人员。累的话，就两人轮换地找地方坐一下，注意队伍的挪
动，当你们的队排到靠前的位置时，就去队伍里站好。排到你们这一队了，签证官会叫
名字，不一定按你们排队的先后，有可能后面的先叫。每次别人签完，注意听你们的名
字，听着像的时候就可以走到窗口了。叫到你们俩中的一位，都两个人一起到窗口，跟
签证官笑笑，主动和签证官打招呼，告诉签证官“签证官，下午好。这是我老伴，我们
一起来签。为了方便今天的面谈，我们准备了所有材料的清单，您需要吗？”接下来就
是递中英文邀请信。后面的他怎么问，你们照实答和出示文件，证明就好。
5．如果签证通过，签证官会给你们一张邮寄护照回执单，就是和护照差不多大小的一
张小纸，颜色每天都换，没有关系。护照不当场退，你们需要到签证处外面办理护照邮
递。如果签证官把护照退出来，就说明你们被拒签，可以问签证官为什么拒，需要补充
什么材料。无所谓，咱下次再签。
6．签过后，收拾好东西，出使馆。找到姐姐。拿着这张纸到马来西亚使馆西门的邮局
办理邮寄手续，距美国使馆签证处5分钟路程。不管邮寄还是自取护照，都要到邮局办
理手续。那个邮局是专门和使馆“联系”，发放护照的。如果找不到地方，可以出使馆
后问一下保安。寄护照填哥哥单位的地址，两个人的护照一起寄一份快递就好。一般一
周内寄到。
成功关鍵：
1。 要强调只是去看看孩子和旅游—看看美国的大好风光
2。 父母在国内有稳定经济条件—最好能出示工资证明， 银行存折， 房产证，因为口说无凭
3。 准备要充分 ――包括材料要全， 回答问题要清楚干脆，详细。
成功客观因素：你们在中国的联系，是否有其他子女，房子，固定收入。我们是否会去
看过你们。材料准备齐全。如果万一签证官要的材料你们没有，镇定的解释一下为什么
没有，然后把其他可能补充和证明的材料告诉签证官。
主观因素：一定要自信、放松、镇定――相信自己一定能过， 敢说话。轻松愉快的表
情。回答不罗索，但也不能限于有一答一，要想问什么这么问。比如，问你们每月多少
退休金，是在问你们的经济能力。递退休工资的同时，可以顺便问签证官，我们还有多
少的存款，您想看看我们银行的存折吗？如果问女儿回来过吗？回答的时候，可以说，
我们有她每次回来签证的复印件和照片，递给签证官。另外，如果没听清楚签证官的问
题，可以请他再说一遍，不要自己猜测以至于给错回答。有时候签证官会把相同的问题
用不同的方式问两遍，不要奇怪。另外，适当的提起家常趣事，和签证官有说有笑，是
很有帮助的。如果签证官看照片，你们可以附带解说以下有趣的照片，提一下里面的家
庭成员等等。
