往美国跑一次.

发帖数: 2321 | 4 办reentry permit的作用才是不需要每半年跑。N470是保留在美连续居留5年的延续性
，入籍用的。因此只有一种情况下才有用处：已经在美国住满30个月，但是总连续居留
时间不到5年，可以办N470这样之后可以入籍。否则的话没有用。但是在这种特殊情形
下，就算不办N470，只要每年回来一次不break continuous residence照样可以按时入籍

4年,期间does not have to return to the US, 到时候他一样可以申请入籍(if he
wants to), 也不用担心绿卡会被收回.
你没有N470的行吗? 你不还得乖乖地每半/一年往美国跑一趟就为保持绿卡.Reentry
permit 不好老用的. 而且一旦你absence > 1 year,时间累积即清零.

United States for certain employment purposes and wishes to
preserve his or her continuous residence to pursue
naturalization.
You may be able to preserve continuous residency (previously
accumulated for naturalization purposes) even though you
may be residing outside the United States for longer than 1
year. The time spent abroad may be counted toward your
residency requirement if you file a Form N-470.
