发帖数: 217 | 3 thanks, it gave me an error message saying it cannot find OCI.DLL. i guess i
have to install oracle instant client but OCN won't let me register and so
to download it. can you advise how to work around it?

发帖数: 228 | 4 in that case you probablity need to find a way to reinstall.
usually dll can not be find means the dynamica library can not be find by
the
program.Hence what you need to do is to find a way to tell the program(toad)
where it is. OS usually use environment variable to tell program where the
dlls
are. and the environment variables should have been set when you are
installing the prerequiste, in your case oracle and its peripheral softwares.
