We graduated and want to sublet our 2 bed room apartment from 02/01/2012 (
could be a bit flexible) till 07/31/2012. This is a very nice apartment, we
rented it last year after visiting ~15 other apartments in Oakland,
Shadyside and Squirell Hill. Here is some information:
1. Cost: $965/month + electricity (~$30/month)
gas, sewage, water are included in the rent
2. Location: S. Negley Avenue and Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15232
Public transportation to/from Oakland (~12 min)
Buses: 71A, 71C, EBO, 75
Shuttles: U Pitt 20A, CMU A, B, AB routes
3 minutes walking to UPMC Shadyside
=> Convenient transportation to University of Pittsburgh / CMU and UPMC
Free on-street parking. Private parking is also available.
Giant Eagle supermarket is across the street => a giant fridge full of food
is always handy
3. Rooms: 1 living room + 2 bedrooms + eat-in kitchen + 1 bathroom + 5
closets
Estimated sizes of rooms: living room 210 sq.ft., bedrooms: 150 sq.ft. and
140 sq.ft. (almost similar), kitchen 100 sq.ft., bathroom 50 sq.ft., 5
closets 10 sq.ft each, and 100 sq.ft. everything else (1 sq.ft = 0.092 m2).
4. Furniture: the apartment is furnished, if you want some or all of our
furniture we can negotiate.
5. Notes:
- This apartment was renovated completely in 07/2010 (new windows, floor,
carpets, kitchen, bathroom, walls), so everything looks new and nice.
- It has 3 sides with windows so plenty of light.
- Coin-op laundry on the first floor.
- The lobby was completely renovated 2 months ago (10/2011), looks fancy now
