he started to complain on Wednesday afternoon when waking up from nap. He
said he had 15 dumplings for lunch (our nanny made it). The poop seems
normal. No vomiting or diarrhea. for consecutive 2 days he is in pain.
Especially at night he is crying out loud to tears keep saying mama du4du4
teng2. Took him to doctor yesterday, didn’t get any suggestion,, just get
some Tylenol to relieve the pain. I am afraid it might be Appendicitis since
there is no symptom of stomach flu.
Any experienced parents please advise. |

whether it is constant or mainly at night, whether the little one got
appetite, how the stool looks like etc.
Better visit another doctor ASAP. Bless! |

发帖数: 244 | 3 Thanks for the reply. He did had a little fever- 100. He points the pain
around belly button area. The stool looks normal, just not a lot. Maybe
because he didn't eat much. |

Pediatric Gastroenterology are all booked up until March or April. Only when
my pediatrician gave them a call, they probably will see him soon. But my
pediatrician just gave us some pepto to relieve his pain ( I called him
just now and he said he didn’t think my baby need to see the specialists).
Looks like poor thing need to go thru the weekend with a lot of pain.
Really not impressive with my pediatrician nor with the American health
system it is so broken. |

ER估计得等很长时间，但好处是当场就能做检查

specialist - they are in NY we lived in CT - so guess NY are better chanced
and not tied too close to the pediatricians. |
