Maroon Bells号称the most photographed peaks in north America, 如果你疑惑为什
么，那就放狗搜一下好了，无数美轮美奂的图片就会展现在你的面前。
这里有好几个trail都可以让你更好的欣赏Maroon Bells，从简短的scenic loop，到中
等的crater lake，到更长的west maroon bells pass亦或是buckskin pass，你可以根
据自己的时间/体力来选择。
我们选择了buckskin pass，事实证明这是一条风景绝佳的路线。随着海拔的上升，你
不但可以看到南北两个bells，还可以看到由百万年前的冰川切出来的峡谷，与Maroon
Bells隔谷相望的pyramid peak。而在pass上，你更是会为 |

叶公好龙般地喜欢maroon peak，只是太远了4个小时车程要赶在午前登顶的话就得露营
，然后就会退
缩于是一直没去成。

发帖数: 915 | 12 恩，如果人多的话可以有点别的活动，比如说先在glenwood泡温泉然后去第二天去爬..
.之后在aspen逛逛之类的...
不过这就是要花钱的大计划了，还是先把周围近的山搞定。目前的计划还是先从kelso
ridge爬一遍torreys。

发帖数: 915 | 14 恩,early start很重要，longs peak可以走夜路，半夜1点出发顺利的话七八点就能登
顶，如果遇到一些问题的话也能赶到午前下山。一路上牛眼标记非常明显，基本不会有
迷路和视野的问题。

不过有只要心理不慌的话感觉问题就不大。主要事故都是气候原因，大风冰雹雷暴。

he always started at 5am and made to the top twice.
We had to come down just under the Homestretch because of the thounder and
lighting and too many people on the slippery slope. Still, I was soaked
inside/out and top/bottom in the thounder/hales for about 2hours coming down!
The key to climb Longs Peak is to get to the Keyhole before dawn (midnight
start, e.g.) and attach the peak early morning then coming down noon.

Your leader probably has a much faster pace than regular hikers.
The three days we were there, the weather was pretty nice though, no
thurderstorm

guys. If I had time I would have made it for sure.

usually, class 3 does not have much exposure, but loose rocks can be a

发帖数: 3311 | 26 My suggestion of starting 12-1am for an all-nighter was over-ruled. Yeah, he over estimated our abilities, ha,ha... He made it but came down in the rain/hales as well.
We were there three days 6/25, 26, 27 and it rained about 1pm to evening
everyday like a clock work.

你们确实是出发晚了，我们是1am出发的，也没什么人，我觉得晚3个小时我也上不去...

details以及最近的trip report看看山上目前的情况比如积雪等等。我觉得对新手来说
出现什么状况还是要做最保守的判断...毕竟山一直在那里下次还可以再去...

groups started around 4am as well did not make it either, except our leader
who had climbed some 6000m+ peaks in China.

攀岩难度不算太高，但是很暴露，要作好安全保护。其他地方用四肢就
可以上去了。 |

今年的目标就是 solid 5.7, 已经超额完成了。
