What is true American nursing?
You must work from 0645 to 7pm, 8pm, even 9pm with not-paid 30minute lunch
break. If your total care patients are 300 pounds or less, you are grateful
to God because most of the time nobody can not help you turn, or clean up
the Code Brown (Nurses know what that is). If you have 6 patients, you know
that means you have 6 families to take care of besides all the lab tests,
medications, precodures, pumps, equipments, and so on and so on. Patient | b*****o

时宜等等头衔的才是真正的不道义。想象一个人的父母家人被一个要全权负责5-6个病
人忙得不可开交的护士护理，安全性在哪里？成立union对抗的是无限制剥削护士的雇
主，保护的实际上是病人。

to take three patients as other hospitals do when short of staff. We are
never cancelled on a regular shift even census are low. We don't have
mandatory overtime. We stand for ourselves. Senior nurses are paid well and
they are deserved it after all the hard working. | T*R

昨晚是我比较点背的一天。
前四个小时五个病人，但是整个FLOOR只有一个CNA。因为我是做AGENCY的，所以只能自
己干，好在病人还算不重。
然后12点开始我连收了三个ADMISSION。虽然都是简单的病，还是忙得屁滚尿流。
早上晚了半个小时才走，我一般都是准时走人的。

发帖数: 1049 | 7 我昨天被叫去帮忙4个小时.结果2小时内3个admission.2个post-op,1个从ER来的.这个
医院还是paper chat,找这个那个sheet就忙的我要死,每次刚拿到chat,就又被人拿走.
病人本身倒是不复杂.我现在痛恨paper chat,我的另外一家医院现在所有都是电脑化,
感觉真是很方便.昨天4小时的shift,结果总共干了7个半钟头.好在钱还是照算.不过
以后再打电话叫我的话我要好好想一想到底去不去了.
