Auburn 2010 vs Michigan 2011 (No, not a NC prediction)
So, I was thinking about Michigan this year and Auburn last year. Both
teams have a stud QB and a very special Dtackle (Fairley and Martin). Now,
I understand that there is MUCH more to a team than a QB and DT, but just
bear with me, I was very bored. When researching team talent based on star
rankings, I found a few points of interest.
Okay, so I compared the 4 classes that lead up to the season (Aburn's 07-10,
and michigans 08-11) I found that Michigans average star rating was a 3.38
and Auburn's was a 3.17 (This includes Cam Newton in the '07 class). I know
we have had a fair amount of talent leave, but this result was still
somewhat surprising to me, considering we are not even in the top 25
preseason rankings. But, what stood out to me above all is that Michigan
averaged 23.5 recruits per class, while Auburn averaged 30.25. That is 124
to 94 in total recruits. Auburn is almost 40 over the allowed amount. Talk
about an advantage! I would say that is accounting for a little more than
normal attrition...
Oversigning is a very serious issue that the NCAA needs to act on hard and
fast (thats what she said, I know). I believe that Michigan would be a top
15 team this year at least if they had an extra 40 players to pick from to
make the roster... So, there's my two cents for the night, take it FWIW. | g*********d

yes a NC prediction?
basically the paper say yes we have a good QB, NT like Auburn, we can put
more star on the field than Auburn, but auburn oversigned quite a bunch last
couple of years and has extra 40 ppl to select from.

个topic。他只是比较了两个学校的两个class，和前4年的recruit情况，基本上这就是
个oversign的topic，五弟省略了一些段落不知道说什么。最后作者还说了如果多sign
40个player，最少就是top15，也没提过NC。
我密现在每年目标就是bigten champ，我觉得这个继承了Bo以来的传统。每年要争Bigten champ到rose bowl是肯定的（有没实力是另一回事，其实RR也是这个目标，只是他防守太滥，对bigten球队不行），NC这东西有很多就不是自己能控制的，毕竟bigten还不是SEC，拿了SEC冠军就能到NC game。 | b**j

star很低，如果能多sign一个class, 一样很有竞争力。oversign

子看过去通篇的PA/GA,这也是无法勉强的。

加上北方到冬天特别冷， 夏天特别热。 DC, michigan据说这会都有100+， 南方这会
像田纳西才80-90度。 训练和打球的时间更长，学生更愿意往南方走。
即使给big 10 同样的sign 规模，也招不够足够质量的football 球员。 | x*******1

北方唯一一次拿BCS national champion osu
还有一次是USC.
延美国南边界，基本每个州都拿过冠军。 基本证明了我的观点。 | b**j

发帖数: 8125 | 11 这个也夸张了。如果多搞30-40个球员4年里面，能多挑4-5个正选先发，赛季13场比赛
，优势还是有的。南方球会天赋多，不过就我多年观察，也不是那么重要。你看SEC教
练挣多少钱，再看看Carr搞多少钱，这是个学校态度问题。大十态度整体很吊，ZB没有
极限，我很看不上。我看osu要不是被每年送去打NC，打个bowl啥的也还是不错的。我
密虽然上三次玫瑰碗豆被干了，不过两次是宇宙队一次是宇宙人，运气也太差了一点点
。宇宙队这样的当时，放到SEC也是人挡杀人，佛挡杀佛的主。换个其他队，我觉得我
们还胜算大一点点。
大十现在有了nebraska,现在老队有MONP,新秀Wisc和NW，我看好大十未来一段时间和
SEC撞一撞。
