If you stayed at a Hyatt hotel in the last year, you might want to keep a
close eye on your bank statement.
On Thursday, the hotel chain announced that its computer system had been
hacked.
Officials say that they found malware which possibly exposed the credit card
information of previous guests. The malicious software was designed to
collect the names, card numbers expiration dates, and internal verification
codes on credit and debit cards.
Hyatt says the malware affected about 250 of its hotels, including the Park
Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and Andaz. Of those affected, about 100 were in the U.
S.
