尹榆， 毕业于复旦大学物理系88级，43岁，于2013年3月6日因胃癌晚期去世。从确诊
到去世仅仅2周的时间。尹榆的太太没有工作，他们的三个小孩分别为12岁，10岁和18
个月。其中最大的小孩患有自闭症(Autism)。

Option 1, Donate to Yin Yu (Alex) Family Education Fund via ACCEF So your
check will be paid to ACCEF, Memo: Yin Yu (Alex) Family Education Fund”
You
can do cash donations as well to this foundation with the “Yin Yu (Alex)
Family Education Fund” specified. If you donate to the Family fund via
ACCEF, your company may be able to match your donations 100% and it will be
tax deductible to you as well. It will help out Alex’s family much more
than just writing a personal check. If you prefer, you can also mail your

paypal link is at: http://www.accef.net/accef-online-donation.htm For those who want to donate but work at companies that do not match employee’s charitable donation, it would be better to donate through ACCEF as they might get tax deduction benefits All donations to ACCEF must specify “Yin Yu (Alex) Family Education Fund”. This is extremely important.
Option 2; Write a check to Alex’s Wife directly. You can choose to write a
check to Alex’s wife directly, in that way, there will no matching from
your company and no tax deductible to yourself. It would help Alex’s
family

Please feel free to share this with your friends. The donations can easily
go beyond Chinese communities. Please feel free to share with your co-

We, the committee of Alex Yin’s friends at Qualcomm, has worked with
American
Chinese Culture and Education Foundation (ACCEF) setup an education
foundation for Yin’s family, to accept donation to provide long term
support for Yin’s family.
We would like to thank all the people who worked over the weekend helping
finalize the process and details of this foundation.
