Well, I received my fail in CS on August 15th, 2009. Pretty bad day for me
though. I did not feel like doing anything in the following one week. After
1 week, I managed to recuperate myself and carry on. One good thing about me
is that my happiness level is very high and strongly believe in myself. I
tried to organize my plan to pass CS the second time. I was challenged by 3
big problems at the time. (1) Study partner (2) Schedule.(3) Morale.(1)
Study partner. It is very hard for me to find my an appropriate study
partner in the neighborhood. Anyway, my roomie and I never practiced
together hereafter since we both failed in the same part. Fortunately, I
found one study partner from Malaysia through one friend of mine. He was
very serious and dedicated type. I liked to work with dedicated people. My
tip-off is to find a dedicated study partner. (2) Schedule. How long should
I prepare for the next CS test? In my opinion, as soon as possible. One
exception is that you failed in SEP. In whatever situations, never let bad
mood get in your way. It is very difficult to schedule a time in September
by the end of August. Oct 7th is the best available date for me. The
location is LA. (3) Morale. Whenever something goes against me, bad mood
never sets in forever or even longer than 2 weeks. One of my friends said
that I was a very happy and optimistic person in nature. I never thought
like what if I failed next time. 3 days after I knew about my failure in CS,
I went hiking with my friends in smoke mountain in the weekend. After the
trip, I fully recovered and passed my Ph.D. oral qualifying exam after 4
days.
In short, if you could handle three things after CS failure appropriately, I
am pretty confident you could pass next time. | z**********4

Ashley who helped me a lot during my hard time. Especially Arisrao who
pointed out there was no need for me to take Kaplan 5 day course. It really
saves me tons of $$$$$. | h***y
