z*****g 发帖数: 558 | 1 I just got to know that I passed CS. Here is my own experiences:
1. Spoken english. I think this should not be a problem for many folks here.
However, for people like me -- just staying at home, it is really a problem
. So I found a English tutor who helped me correct my accent and revise some
questions, and make them sound more "american". Try our best to speak
naturally with confidence.
2. First Aid is good enough for preparation. Practice, practice and practice
. I have went though all of the first aid cases for 4 to 5 times. I only did
several cases in the UW.
3. Practice face to face. I practiced all of the cases of first aid once
with my husband. For some of the cases, I practiced exactly as the real test
would be, such as knocking the door, setting up a stopwatch, washing my
hands, and writing patient notes. I think this is really important.
4. I did not go to any kaplan classes. I only studied with one Indian doctor
online for 2 weeks, 1 hour each day. I think it helped a little.
5. During the real test, do not be scared by the patients no matter they are
office cases or emergency cases. They are fake! Do what you should do.
6. Sometimes, the doorway information is really long, make sure to read them
carefully, or you will not know what to do inside. I made such mistake.
7. Patient notes. I typed all of the PN in capital letters. Typing all in
capital letters can save a lot time by avoiding switching letters.
Good luck to everyone. | M*****1 发帖数: 371 | 2 Congratulations and thanks for sharing. | h***y 发帖数: 834 | | S******9 发帖数: 2837 | | s********p 发帖数: 1319 | | a******3 发帖数: 1017 | | s********o 发帖数: 3319 | | g*****a 发帖数: 95 | |
