solutions when dissolved in water. I want to suspend some inorganic particles
in water. can you give me some suggestions? I heard that some surfactants can
also be used to make viscous solutions. Is that true? what are some
surfactants that are commonly used? thank you in advance. | c*s 发帖数: 2145 | 2 you can use gel solutions, polyelectrolytes, chitosan.
also some common water solable polymers such as PVP
particles
can

literature. Can they give gel solutions in the existence of salt (like NaCl)?
Are they strong enough to suspend inorganic particles? I have never used them,
and I would like to give a try. But I don't know what are polyelectrolytes.
Are they polymers? Thanks..

| c*s 发帖数: 2145 | 4 regarding the gel solutions in the existence of salt (like NaCl), I think it
should be stable if the salt concentration is not too high.(otherwise it will
screen the charge)
it should be OK to stabilize the NPs.after all, ppl use PVP as template for
inorganic NP synthesis.
polyelectrolyte is a polymer containing high density of charged function
group. as an example, linear poly(acrylic acid) , a weak polyelectrolyte
NaCl)?
them,
viscous
surfactants
