Essential Duties
• The overall responsibility of this position is answering customer
service related calls in a call center environment. The representative will
interact with customers to provide and process information in response to
inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services regarding
warranty claims. The CSR will process sales orders and work orders in
junction with the customer service related calls.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Deal directly with customers either by telephone, or
electronically
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Handle and resolve customer complaints
• Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries
and complaints
• Perform customer verifications
• Process orders, forms, and requests
• Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
• Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
• Record details of actions taken
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
• Follow up on customer interactions
• Completes special projects as defined by Customer Service
Supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• High School diploma required, some college or degree preferred.
• Must have 2 years of customer service experience.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer
service skills.
• Ability to drive change and inspire innovation.
• Tact and diplomacy in dealing with confidential information.
• Ability to offer common sense solutions to complex service issues.
• Self-starting, high energy level and exceptional work ethic.
• Detailed oriented, driven for results and change.
• Proactive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and
Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while
maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to
completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and
standard accepted practices
