Malabs Inc. is seeking two strong PHP Web Developers( Sr level and Jr. level
) with an interest in technology and analytics.
The successful candidate will also be an expert in PHP, HTML/JavaScript/CSS,
SQL, XML, and / or AJAX. The successful engineer will work closely with
marketing and ERP MIS team to enhance existing and build new web based
applications for B2B computer hardware market. We are looking for a sharp
and motivated developer that can architect scalable solutions, accommodate
changing priorities, and support key business analysis.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and support scalable website with database-powered
infrastructures
- Lead by example by writing clean, well- tested code, as well as owning the
design and coding of specific features. Expert in modern web application
development and LAMP stacks
- Maintain, support and improve website with related applications/modules,
as well as cross platform/system programs, develop new programs as business
need.
- Working as a team lead a plus
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Previous PHP programming experience. Symfony experience is a plus
- Previous experience working with database driven infrastructure and in a
team
environment developing production-quality code
- Exposure to all technical aspects of the product lifecycle: requirements
gathering, design, implementation, quality assurance (automated and manual),
documentation, support, maintenance
- Expert knowledge and solid all- around application development experience:
MVC frameworks in PHP, HTML/JavaScript/CSS, SQL, XML, and / or AJAX
- Proficiency in enterprise databases (e.g. MySQL)
- Familiarity with Linux
- Web analytical experience is a plus
- Bilingual in Chinese and English preferred |
