发帖数: 2771 | 1 本来两轮店面之后说要on site的，后来又改说要先skype面。经常不回email. 直到我
多次follow up，到了面试前2天才敲定时间。我也是在上班，拿4个小时的时间出来要
预先请假的啊。skype面感觉还可以，有个国人小伙还是校友，非常nice得水过。面的
是SRE，除了那个国人小伙的领域，其他没有不在advanced programming in the unix
environment这本书里面的。比较夸张的是，面后2天我写email给recruiter，谢谢她和
interview team的time和effort to make the interview process a nice experience
。To be exact, all the interviewers are nice. 没回音。过一周后又写email
follow up， 也没回音。现在4周都过去了，我也就move on了，不过还是觉得他家
recruiter比较极品。回个email两行字的事。 |

发帖数: 2771 | 3 SRE基本上就是问UNIX internals，有点网络问题，CCNA范围内。其他的问题，看过这
本“advanced programming in the unix environment"，基本上都cover了。而且有几
个经典问题这本书比wiki说得清楚明白。这是为了给要面经的同学留的。
国人小伙是developer出身，明珠暗投阴差阳错进了SRE, 问了一些application，
cookie, memcache的问题。我碰巧没用过memcache，光知道是个in memory hash table
，不清楚具体怎么用。

发帖数: 2771 | 10 不是complain被拒了，complain 那个recruiter网聊之后4星期还没给回信。 在这里
complain之后心想为什么不再发个email问一下，结果收到拒信。挺好。full closure.
但是不管怎样，她4个星期没给我回信是不对的。

到底干什么的？好像是近几年才出来的新词. |

一般人做不下来。同时又很看重经验，可能楼主的面试主要还是经验所致。

devops，不好听就是网管。

thank you letter. I do not think the hiring decision can be changed by a
thank you letter or one more follow up email.

and they were waiting for the reply from their no.1 choice.
Looks like no.1 choice accepted the offer, and all backups, including you,
were no longer needed now.
In this situation, it's quite common you heard nothing from HR after the
interview.
