-Building capacity for creating sustainable paradigm shifts.
The purpose of the Global Health Leadership Program is to foster the
leadership capacity of its participants by providing them with a world-class
education comprised of robust academic research and cutting-edge best
practices. GHLP graduates will enhance the well-being of human life by
collaborating on the creation of a sustainable paradigm for a harmonious
coexistence in our global community.
We have started enrolling students.
●Target Participants: Students in doctoral degree programs in any
discipline at any accredited university. We welcome diversity in
participants' backgrounds --from engineering to the social sciences. We also
welcome students in master's degree programs as auditors and /or
professionals.
●Program Duration: May -September 2011
●Curriculum: 12 lectures (10 lectures on Wednesday, 17:00-20:00, and 2
sessions on Saturday) 3-month on-the-job training (in domestic or overseas
organizations)
●Fees: This program is fully funded for doctoral students. GHLP will
sponsor travel expenses and living costs for internships. (Please note that
internship sponsorship does not apply to auditors and small administrative
fees will be charged.)
●Language of Instruction: English
●Venue: Hongo campus of Univ. of Tokyo or off-campus facility TBA
●Organizer: Department of Global Health Policy, Graduate School of

●Application Procedure: Curriculum Vitae (format not specified / in
English) and the attached Application Form must be submitted via email to
g**[email protected] by 8 April 2011. Applicants may be invited for an
interview. Please note that application documents will not be returned.
●Note: Program participants are required to attend all lectures. Doctoral
students are also required to satisfactorily complete a three-month
internship. This program does not sponsor auditors' internships but may in
some cases provide support for those who are willing to undertake
internships at their own expenses.
