USCIS关于14岁以下小孩485的申请费规定让人很费解：
From Form I-485 instruction:
The fee is $985 only (no biometrics fee required) for applicants 79 years of
age or older, and applicants under 14 years of age who submit Form I-485
independent from other family members.
The fee for a child under 14 years of age will be $635 when submitted with
the application of a parent under 201(b)(A)(i),203(a)(2)(A), and 203(d) of
the INA.
何为“applicants under 14 years of age who submit Form I-485 independent
from other family members”？

Special Instructions:
There are exceptions in which the applicant is not required to pay the
entire $1070:
•For applicants under 14 years of age:
Filing with the I-485 application of at least one parent have a fee total of
$635;
Not filing with the I-485 application of at least one parent have a fee
total of $985
我们是基于EB1B递交485申请，我还附加了765和131，支票都写了985+85=1070，递交时
就对小孩的申请费有点困惑，最后还是以最高费用递交了，心想交少了肯定不行，多了
大不了不要了。结果我的被接收了，小孩以费用不对为由被退了回来，请问，14岁以下
小孩485的申请费究竟是多少？985还是635？1070肯定是不对了。
另外，如果小孩的重新递交，是否必须等我的485正式收据到了才能进行？现在只是
online和短信显示已经收到package.

---这个意思是：14岁以下未成年人申请者，如果跟201(b)(A)(i),203(a)(2)(A), and

201(b)(A)(i),203(a)(2)(A)和203(d)究竟是什么意思？仔细读了一下INA：ACT 201 和
203
201(b)(A)(I)指美国公民的子女，配偶和父母
203(a)(2)(A)指持绿卡的子女和配偶
203(d)还不太清楚，大概也是指子女和配偶。
不知理解是否正确？
我女儿肯定不是独立申请了，应该属于203(a)(2)(A)，虽然我还在pending.
所以你是对的，应该是635. |
