one day u found ur ball go skyhigh,(don't have to be skyhigh, higher than
normal). u might want to change the shaft.
for instance, if u could launch the ball at 18 degree (it's typical for 15
degree 3 woods).
the max height of ball trajectory should be:
max of ur 3-woods distance, say, 240 yards, * 80% * tan 18 =61.44 yards.
and +/- 15% of 61.44

realistically, peopole just measure launch angle.
a bit soft shaft helps more in terms of sending ball to air.
