Hogan's swing,and failed.
I carefully read Ben's swing book and Tiger's "how I play golf." The two
share the one thing in common - fundamental. but I believe they have
different thought in terms of the swing. Ben's swing plane is too flat. In
my mind, it needs more timing control between the shoulder turn and hip, and
more manupulation of club shaft position. Tiger's swing (now and before
2002) are uprighter a little bit,

golfer has to flatten it after backswing.
I like Ben's transition from backswing to downswing the most. Tiger's
transition is not as smooth and hard to copy.
Another thing is he played his best golf at age 41. I'd love to see if
Tiger
can maintain his swing 10 years later..

sense for me.

Sergio Garcia was very much Ben Hogan like in terms of flat plane in swing.
Now he is more upright.
While Tiger used to be very upright, now he is a little flat in order to
control the trajectory according to his recently blog email.
But hard to say which one is better, having said that I don't think mimic
Tigers swing is a good idea. He is a different animal.

I don't know if Garcia have ever changed his swing. He is a typical two-
swing planer. Also he only has one instructor of his lifetime - his father.
I don't think "Tiger used to be very upright". there is only one guy I say
his back swing is very upright - Jim Furyk. But his downswing is a perfect
45 degree.
When Tiger was young, it's true his swing plane is upright which lead to the
cross-line at the top of his backswing. He deosn't like it, so he changed
it to f

发帖数: 202 | 7 I saw Jim Furyk couple of times at Byron Nelson and Colonial golf tournament
, while watching his swing, he had a very strange movement near the top,
actually he raised the club vertically a little bit at the top before
swinging down. So I think he is little different or should say little unique
in his swing. Jim Furyk is very upright at the top.

in downswing is just like what Ben did.
