发帖数: 25 | 2 I have bought a lot of gift cards from Ebay and most of the time there are
no issues. But a few things that might be helpful:
1. Always use credit card to fund Paypal. Paypal actually does not provide
much protection against fraud and it is very difficult to deal with Paypal
even it allows you to file a dispute. By using a credit to fund Paypal, it
is very easy to file a dispute with your credit card company and get a full
refund if the seller does not refund you.
2. Always wait till you receive and verify the card before you leave a
positive feedback.
3. The safest way is to protect your card, especially electronic ones, is to
buy something to use up that card asap and then do a return and get a new
card from the store and keeps the receipt so that you are the only one that
knows the new card's number (better with unscrached pin).
It is not easy to save some money and only buy discount gift card if you are
not bothered by the hassle.
