不喜欢原来那个officer,爱理不理的,让她赚钱好像还欠她什么似的。
我就纳闷了,为什么贷款还要花钱找个agent,自己找去银行,提供资料,和银行里的
人谈好利息,公事公办,这样可以吗? |

1) mortgage broker. they sell "mortgage" like merchants. they buy at one
price and sell at another price. they make money from those transactions.
they don't even need to disclose what they make except the laws in some
states (i am not aware of any in GA).
2) mortgage agent. they don't buy "mortgage" until the borrows are fine with
the nature of the loan (rate, term, etc.) that they are able to lock in.
they are more of service-oriented

,又不收你3%的COMMISSION费吧?
我是想在原来的银行做REFIN,和他谈谈更低的利息。不想白白让LOAN OFFICER赚佣金
,付给她的几千块,等于白省了一年。 |

they receive their compensation from the lender and also the borrower. they
don't usually disclose the markup they use. it's all negotiable on the
borrower end.

等我有空自己去和银行谈谈再说,
