想贴到NY times上去,不知道能否贴出来,需要审查。
An interesting story related to a marriage crisis between a newly married
couple, which is not the main focus, develops into a possible scandal of
ineligibility of a Microsoft Research Faculty Fellow. However, if the story
is so simple, it will not last so long, more than 10 days already. The first
part of the story is the newly married husband had an extra marital affairs
with a female group member from Clemson University when they were traveling
to attend an academic conference, booking a hotel room with a bed only. You
can bet what would happen. And it did happen. The newly married wife knew
the affairs. Oh, yeah, they live separately across the Pacific Ocean, which
creates the convenience for them to have affairs. If the story ends up here,
it will be just an extra marital affairs as usual, too many these days. Not
surprised.
A third member came up to post a message that the newly married husband's
former boss (said former adviser, a female and married assistant professor
at Clemson University) has an Extra Marital Affairs with her husband, using
NSF funding to purchase air-ticket flying to meet with her husband,
according to accuse. And now the story's blown up. Thanks for the powerful
internet. More information was exposed: the faculty holds 2/3 NSF fundings
at the same time, which is said quite unusual. It was said because she has a
connection to an unknown director, someone in academic area with a
Taiwanese background or the like. Who knows.
The clear controversy is this assistant professor might not qualify for the
Microsoft Research Faculty Fellow, according to many online discussions.
Even, a template letter was drafted to notify the Microsoft company. If you
are interested in this story, you might have to ask someone who can read and
translate the Chinese article(s)/posts for you. I am sure you here, this
story is interesting enough for you enjoy. What I am asking here is whether
you can write something or make some contribution to find out the
qualification of the assistant professor on the Microsoft Research Faculty
Fellow, and of course, question on the NSF fundings if there is also a
scandal.

not as good as the writer of "躺着也中枪zz".
According to your summary, the two stories have no connection except the
Clemson University.You should mention the picture.That thing is an clue.^-^ | l********g

see Lu yu and Lianyu zhao in

从鲢鱼老婆的诉苦帖里
http://mitbbs.com/article_t/Family/32562721.html
可以看出他们是在去Atlanta开的房,而且一开始不是"one bed only".
那时应该不是什么学术会议。
新年附近应该没有什么会吧。 楼主最好调查好了再做这个judgement. It is not good
to ruin the reputation of the whole University. | w*******i 发帖数: 284 | 13 it's great to publish in NY Times or Wall Street Journal.
