最近律师再帮忙填新版的485，其中有三道问题，分别是Part 8的25，26和27.
Q25. Have you EVER been arrested, cited, charged, or detained for any reason
by any law enforcement official (including but not limited to any U.S.
immigration official or any official of the U.S. armed forces or U.S. Coast
Guard)?
Q26. Have you EVER committed a crime of any kind (even if you were not
arrested, cited, charged with, or tried for that crime)?
Q27. Have you EVER pled guilty to or been convicted of a crime or offense (
even if the violation was subsequently expunged or sealed by a court, or if
you were granted a pardon, amnesty, a rehabilitation decree, or other act of
clemency)?
以前的485版本上，明确写了exlude traffic ticket，现在没有这一条。我的律师建议
我都写Yes,然后做补充解释。但是我有点吃不准，不知道大家怎么看？有没有相同情况

有一张100多美金的交通罚单，律师也让我25-27这三个问题回答yes然后解释，但不用
上交相关文件。我比较担心这会影响到申请的处理时间。 | a****u

里说明了500美金以下不涉及arrest，alcohol，drug和人员财产伤亡的交通罚单不用提
供相关文件，但律师说只是不用提供文件不是不用交代这样的traffic violation，而
且关于犯罪记录的那三个问题必须回答yes。我也觉得这么回答很不好，但律师说不这
么办就是故意欺瞒造假。所以我想问问版上大家有类似情况的都是怎么办的。

再重复一遍，移民律师是律师中的渣渣，而你的律师估计是渣渣中的渣渣。

发帖数: 15 | 12 多谢你的回复。instruction上是这么写的，“In general, you do not need to
submit documentation relating to traffic fines and incidents that did not
involve an actual physical arrest if the penalty was only a fine of less
than $500 or points on your driver’s license. However, you must submit such
documentation if the traffic incident resulted in criminal charges or
involved alcohol, drugs, or injury to a person or property." ，律师说这只是
说明do not need to submit documentation，没说我可以隐瞒这样的traffic
violation不交代。我当然不想在犯罪记录的问题上回答yes，但律师说I-485上明确问
的是Have you ever been arrested, cited, charged or detained for any reason
by any law enforcement official，我有交通罚单就是被cited了，而罚单交了罚金就
是have pled guilty，25-27这三个问题我不回答yes就是故意造假欺骗移民局，一顶大
帽子扣过来说得我也没法反驳，但也确实担心这些问题回答yes会造成case长期pending
。我当初就不该跟律师提罚单的事，现在除非我不通过这个律师办理485，否则只能按
律师说的办。

,之类的，附上一些当时的ticket的复印件，原件自己留着
