On October 26 at around 5 p.m. the roommate of a student living off-campus
in the 1100 block of South Racine Avenue was the victim of a home-invasion
robbery. The victim told police that she was awakened in her apartment to
find two offenders who grabbed her and demanded money. The victim told the
offenders that she had no money as the offenders searched the apartment.
