possible
, however, here, it becomes tricky cause your hand is very slamish and H
doesn't have to be a good trump suit.
Suppose partner holds AJ Kxxxx AQxxx x, you may make 7D, 6H may fail
due to 4-1 split. or partner may hold:
AJx Kxxxx AQ Axx, here, you can make 7NT or 7S or 7D, but not 7H.
So my suggestion is that you really should bid out your shape here
and bid 3D. If partner can raise S or D, great. if partner rebids 3H

didn't mention the format of scoring), because this hand has great slam
potential, and getting to the right strain is more important in IMP match.
In a MP scoring, the consideration will be different, since even if you find
D fit, 5D doesn't score as well as 4H, and 6D (even with an overtrick)
doesn't score as well as 6H.
Still, bidding 3D isn't without risk of confusion. For example, suppose
partner bids 3S now (1S-2H-3D | x***e
