I heard that there is some enzyme that needs another enzyme in the same
family to active this enzyme.

The two enzymes have similar substrate, but we indeed have in vivo and in
vitro results show the inhibition.
I am guess two possiblities, 1, Protein A interact directly with B to
inhibit. 2, Protein A could bind substrate b to protect it, so B could not
works on b.
