祸三名华人嫌犯的身分，他们分别是24岁的Nan Ying，19岁的Jincheng Sun与20岁的
Zizilong Wang。
警局发言人Chelsea Stuenkel表示，车祸发生于当天下午1时，地点在邻近Mile Marker
93的15号高速公路北向车道。一辆黑色宝马（BMW）汽车、一辆凯迪拉克轿车与一辆银
色日产休旅车（Nissan SUV）同时驶在15号公路南向车道，凯迪拉克轿车内的乘客向休
旅车丢掷瓶子，休旅车驾驶试图从左侧路肩超越宝马汽车，结果失控冲过中央分界区，
迎面撞上北向车道的一辆红色Mini Cooper，造成家住韩德森市的69岁驾驶Michael
Prinaris当场死亡。
休旅车35岁驾驶身受重伤，被送UMC医院救治，警方尚未公布其姓名，据信他将面
临过失致人于死的重罪起诉。车上两名73岁乘客也被送医救治，但伤势不严重。
目前被以鲁莽驾驶轻罪起诉的是宝马汽车驾驶Nan Ying与凯迪拉克驾驶Jincheng
Sun，涉嫌向银色日产休旅车丢瓶子的凯迪拉克乘客Zizilong Wang，被控乱丢垃圾轻罪。

Four people are in custody in connection with an investigation into a fatal
crash Sunday afternoon on Interstate 15 near Moapa, the Nevada Highway
Patrol tweeted.
Earlier Sunday, Highway Patrol trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said a man died
after a driver, possibly involved in road rage, lost control of his car and
drove into oncoming traffic.
A silver Jeep and black BMW were driving south on Interstate 15 near Moapa
just before 1 p.m. Sunday when the Jeep hit the BMW while trying to pass,
drove into the northbound lane and hit an oncoming Mini Cooper, Stuenkel
said. The Mini Cooper driver died on the scene.
Immediately after the Jeep hit the Mini Cooper, a Nissan Pathfinder also
traveling in the northbound lanes crashed. It is not yet clear whether the
Nissan was involved in the incident, Stuenkel said.
The Nissan’s driver and one passenger, and the Jeep’s driver, were
transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
Stuenkel said the Highway Patrol is investigating whether road rage was a
factor in the crash. At about 9:15 p.m., the Highway Patrol tweeted tow
trucks were on the scene moving vehicles and debris, and that four people
were in custody related to the fatal investigation. |

A man was killed when his car was hit head-on as result of a road rage
incident Sunday afternoon near Moapa, according to Nevada Highway Patrol
Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel.
About 12:50 p.m. a silver Jeep attempted to pass a black BMW on the left
shoulder of southbound Interstate 15 near mile marker 93 but lost control,
Stuenkel said. The Jeep clipped the BMW, crossed the center median and
crashed into a northbound Mini Cooper, Stuenkel said.
The male driver of the Mini Cooper was pronounced dead on the scene, and the
man driving the Jeep was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas,
according to Stuenkel.
A silver Nissan Pathfinder also crashed due to the initial wreck, and a man
and woman from that vehicle were also taken to UMC, according to Stuenkel.
The accident resulted in the closure of all northbound lanes on I-15,
Stuenkel said.
The investigation is ongoing, but the Highway Patrol believes the initial
incident was a result of road rage between the drivers of the Jeep and BMW. |
