it is charging after 2 years of gentle and rare use as I use my iMac mostly.
It seems a common problem and may melt and cause burning based on the
review from other users. Just google "magsafe" and you will find a lot of
people complaining about the melt of the wire and burning with actual
pictures.

The genius diagnosed that it is indeed the problem with the adapter and I
need a replacement. She insists
that I need to pay for the replacement because my macbook is out of warranty
. I pointed out that it is written
on that Apple official webpage that warranty wont be an issue, then: , she
told me that SHE WON'T REPLACE
IT FOR ME SINCE IT HAVEN'T MELTED.

发帖数: 504 | 4 这个所谓的genius也是良莠不齐。我以前去apple store换过两个macbook的keyboard
cover，一个是palm area容易黑，一个是crack掉了，都是apple承认的问题。碰到的
两个genius一个态度很好，一个态度比较恶劣。不过都给换了。
试着换一家apple store看看。

去年硬盘就莫名其妙地坏了，都不能开机启动。拿到apple store去也修不了，就说既
然还在一年的warranty内，换个硬盘吧。一个月前备份过数据，没来得及备份的就都丢
了。
仅有的两次去genius bar的经历都不爽

的。 而且苹果自己的官方网站上也承认了这个adapter就是有问题。借口不是我找的，
是苹果自己在那个网页上说的。我只是觉得一面假惺惺口头承认有问题说可以换，一面
又推推脱脱，还想骗人再买这种垃圾实在恶心。
还有我不能理解的是，为什么这里总有些人这么听不得一丁点对苹果的坏话，好像有了
苹果就能掩饰自己的猥琐，就可以信口指责他人，真是现宝又好笑。
