Attention CPA Exam Candidates: The AICPA is offering an excellent
opportunity to put your CPA Exam knowledge to practice, and we don’t think
you should pass it up!
The AICPA is seeking 500 volunteers to take 100 sample multiple choice
questions (MCQs) in the BEC section of the CPA Exam. This event is part of a
study that the AICPA Examinations Team is conducting to improve the ‘item
development process’. Participants will be given approximately three hours
in one sitting to complete the 100 multiple choice questions (4 testlets of
25 MCQs). Those accepted will answer the questions from home using their
personal computers and online connection.
Although answers will not be scored, participants will receive an immediate
performance report that is a raw score of predicted correct responses.
Additionally, the BEC questions tested during this process will never appear
on the actual CPA Exam; however, they are quite similar to what the
participant will see when taking BEC.
Consider this an excellent hands-on opportunity to experience the MCQ
portion of the CPA Exams, while receiving genuine, professional feedback on
where you stand in BEC.

there, you will be taken to a short survey, which is designed to assist the
Exams Team in determining eligibility for the study. This is to ensure the
population of participants is a diverse set of potential testers.
Candidates who are selected will receive an e-mail with event details in May
