今年3月份，堪萨斯州首府Topeka市的市长决定在一个月时间内Topeka市将临时更名为Google市，Google表示这是莫大的荣誉，因此它在4月1日淩晨1时宣布，Google正式更名为Topeka。声明由Topeka公司CEO和主席Eric Schmidt亲笔执写。
谷歌在官方博客上称，“作出这个决定并不轻松——毕竟之前的 Google 这个品牌价值相当可观。但是当他们一次次流连在(前)Topeka 政府网站时，一种对这个位于 Great Plains 边缘城市的亲切感觉油然而生，并不断升腾，于是乎有了上面这个决定。”
Topeka市改名的决定在3月1日的市议会会议上获得批准，Topeka市的市长Bill Bunten宣布，在整个三月份Topeka不叫Topeka，叫Google。

WOW, very suprised
I have eaten at probably every Chinese restraunt in Topeka and this is by
far the best with the best prices. Their lunch special is outstanding and
Their dinner prices are VERY reasonable for the amount and quality of food

Simply the best Chinese restaurant I have yet tried in Topeka. Good food
with great variety, good service, moderate prices, and clean. One of the
things I particularly like about the place is its selection of tasty low-fat
entrees.

west side is safer. It is cheaper in central and east side.
no 中国学生 in Topeka. Chinese who live in Topeka because they have
permanent work there. |

Topeka South and 29th. Quite good. It seemed popular, because that day
they said a US senator(or congressman) from KS was eating there too. (they
