a lot of ppl give them money!!! even though they play really crappy, the
sound was really scratchy sometimes, but it was something really enjoyable

Pacific Northwest地区一般指Washington和Oregon两州，特别是沿海一带。这个地区
的主要城市包括西雅图和波特兰，地貌主要是丘陵和山区。主要河流有哥伦比亚河，哥

我在Oregon/Washington住了7年，对这个地区有很深的感情，热爱这里的每座山峰，每

说完了山，下面一个自然的topic应该是水了吧。西北地区既然雨水多，水系自然也就
丰富，类似我国南方。打开一张地图，你就会发现大小湖泊星罗棋布，河流纵横交错。
最负盛名的湖当然是Crater Lake，北美最深的湖，也是Oregon唯一的国家公园。
Crater Lake是一个高山湖泊，海拔6000多尺，湖的周长20多迈。顾名思义，Crater
Lake是有火山喷发留下的坑形成。Crater Lake位于Cascade Range中，整个西北地区的
Cascade Range，北至加拿大，阿拉斯加，南过加州，蕴藏了众多活火山，地质活动极
其频繁。地质学家说的Pacific Ring of Fire就包括了北美的西海岸和亚洲的太平洋群
